Acevedo is a municipality located in the southeast of the department of Huila in Colombia. Here, the Colombian Andes, coming from the south, divide into three distinct mountain ranges – the Western, Central and Eastern Cordilleras. Just beyond the Central and Eastern Cordillera, the convergence is in the jungle and, therefore, in the moist and cool air. This has the effect, on the microclimates of Acevedo, of simulating an increase in altitude – there is a great diversity of humidity, temperature and precipitation – leading to different but ideal coffee growing conditions.
This multi-producer batch was built during the Acevedo Cup tasting competition, in which only coffees that met the physical criteria and had a taste score of 86 and above were accepted.
This coffee is perfect for making espresso and/or filter coffee. Simply adjust your grind accordingly. It is also very good with milk.
