We roast our coffee fresh every Monday to ensure peak freshness when it arrives at your door. All orders placed before 6:00am (EST) on Monday will be roasted and shipped the following day (Tuesday). All orders received after this cutoff will be roasted and shipped the following week.
Yes. If you do not have a grinder, you may simply indicate in the notes section of your order that you would like your coffee pre-ground and which type of coffee brewer you are using so we may determine the appropriate grind size.
While we make this service available, we caution that pre-grinding your coffee will result in significantly faster loss of aroma and flavour than in its whole bean format. Coffee is always best served when ground immediately prior to brewing, and we highly encourage you to purchase a good quality grinder to optimize your coffee experience at home.
We cannot accept returns on coffee purchases, but if you are in any way dissatisfied with your coffee, please email us at hello@kaitocoffee.com with a description of the problem and we will do all that we can to resolve it with you.
